ReNu®

ReNu® products, including ReNu® with MoistureLoc and ReNu® Multiplus Solution, were
approved for use as contact wash solution. In some cases, the moisturizing and disinfecting
properties of these solutions promoted the growth of the fungal infection Fursarium
Keratitis, which is frequently linked with blindness.
While all contact-lens solution formulas negligibly increase the user’s risk of
this infection, the incidence of infection in ReNu® users was excessively high.
ReNu® manufacturer Bausch and Lomb recalled the defective products and removed them
from the market.
If you or a loved one suffered a fungal infection or other injury after using a
ReNu® contact-lens solution, contact a John Bales Florida injury attorney today.
